Albert Redden Alexander (1873 – 1947)

A.R. was F.M. Alexander’s younger brother, whom he trained in his technique.

A.R. served with British Empire forces in the Boer War. After returning to Australia, he taught the Technique in Melbourne.  Some years later, he joined F.M. in London. After having been thrown from a horse in 1917, he suffered severe injury but recovered and gradually recommenced teaching. He moved to Boston in 1933, where he continued to work. In 1945 he returned to England, where he died in 1947.
